FAREWELLS AND GOODBYES

Northern Oddities - Design Collection from Finland was a joyful manifesto for Finnish eccentric lifestyle and its pure form of design. It was a story of eight curious Finnish design brands on their crusade to New York City.

The exhibition and the events in NYC are over now. We hope we were able to offer some comprehensively memorable pitstops to you. Thank you New York, we will be back! Maybe sooner than you might even think of...

AS HAPPENED AT PURE PROFILES

Northern design is known of its pure and simple shapes, colours, profiles and functionality - less is more, as we tend to say.

It was time for silhouette artist Andrea Peitsch to find the essential beauty of one's profile. Andrea is a second generation silhouette artist and raises dairy goats and chickens on a micro farm in a coastal Rhode Island.
